Our Bible study sessions are currently in the midst of a summer break. Our weekly get-togethers will resume on Monday, September 13. Enjoy the summer months, and we hope to see you in September!
In our last study we concluded the final verses of James's letter (chapter 5, verses 4-20). Despite facing difficulties and even injustices, the Christians were encouraged to depend on God and endure difficulties. Just as importantly, they were to help erring believers who had gotten themselves into trouble.
Our next study on September 13 will begin a new round of discussion topics. We will spend several weeks reading through and discussing the two New Testament letters written by the apostle Peter. He wrote to Christians who were experiencing lots of troubles in life, and there are many helpful principles for our lives, too.
